Shironam - A Review

Shironam is a social feature directed by Indranil Ghosh focusing on the not so positive role played by news media. Shot in Ghosh's mother tongue Bengali, Shironam has intense performances from its key cast - Jisshu Sengupta and Swastika Mukherjee, stalwarts in the Bengali and Hindi film industries.

Ghosh weaves a dark tale of media war and unveils, layer by layer, the truth.

Not just Sengupta and Mukherjee, Shironam boasts of other big names such as Anjan Dutta and Saswata Chatterjee and they do complete justice to the roles offered to them.

Verdict - Shironam is a powerhouse of performances and has all that is demanded of a great social thriller/drama.
